Middle School Scavenger Hunt

Our middle school embarked on a scavenger hunt at Dulles Town Center Mall this week to practice their teamwork skills. Students were challenged to work in small groups, strategizing and executing a plan of action to find all of the items in the most efficient and successful manner! Students encountered some difficulty deciphering all of the clues and a further lesson was learned as teams learned the importance of a growth mindset when some items just could not be found. Concluding with a post action debrief with Mrs Abraham, students enjoyed some ice cream before returning to the Newton School! Many thanks to the outstanding people at the Dulles Town Center Mall for helping make this such an enjoyable experience!
