Visit to Imagination Stage

Our Lower School students journeyed to the "Bayou" (the Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD) for a special performance of Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood - and it was not quite like the traditional fairy tale! Students were dazzled by the lavish sets and costumes, extraordinary dance moves, and creatively sung creole anthems in the updated version of this classic. Students laughed along with our hero, the red robed little duck and her companion and sidekick Te Jean the cat, as they outwitted and stayed ahead of the Big Bad Gator! Following a hilarious and imaginative musical, we had the privilege of an exclusive Q and A with the cast and some of the crew from the Imagination Stage. Our students asked excellent questions about the production and a potential future career in the performing arts. Many thanks to the incredible players from the Imagination Stage! Highly recommend!
