Community Service

The 7th and 8th graders took on their first community service initiative of this school year by making 120 sandwiches for the Embry Rucker Shelter in Reston to support people in need in our area. Students are required to complete at least 10 hours of service this year and are exploring activities such as volunteering at a food bank, working at an animal shelter or helping out at the local library. We are excited to make a difference in our community and firmly establish the concept of giving back in a meaningful way. We can’t wait for our next project – picking up litter in our local parks!
