STEM Challenge

Our 7th and 8th graders put their engineering and problem solving skills to the test last week when their small groups had to work together to create a structure from 20 spaghetti noodles and 30 mini marshmallows. The structure had to be at least 6 inches high and hold a paper plate with increasing weight – all within a 30 minute period. The teams did great using their architect moves, thoughtful placement and building on the ideas of others to achieve this wonderful goal. Congrats to Neil, Maddie, Lizzy and Mihir who all made structures that passed the test!
