Last week, our Newton School students explored the Children’s Science Center in Fair Oaks Mall and participated in some eye-opening science at work. The students experienced four stations, taking in different aspects of science including at the experiment bar where students concocted their own study on density using soap, water, glycerin, corn syrup and plastics. From there, the students headed to the Innovation Hub where they tested hands-on weather-related activities, and then traveled to the Keva Plank Zone for some tower construction. Finally, the students created their own hovercrafts and launched them in the wind tunnel! Check out the pictures of all the learning!
