Loudoun County Sheriff Visit

Last Thursday, Deputy Atchison and Deputy Beach arrived at The Newton School in their patrol cards and full gear to help our students in grade K-5 learn more about the services that the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office provides and the activities that they can practice to keep everyone safe. We learned about how police are different from sheriffs, how to use seat belts and what to do in case of an emergency – CALL 911! The students then got to see all the items on the deputy’s belts and explore the patrol cars. We ended with a demonstration of the sirens and lights. Many thanks to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office for taking time out from their busy day to help our community!
